PHASED ARRAY ULTRASONICS
Phased Array is advanced technology that produces an ultrasonic beam with the capability of setting beam parameters such as angle, focal distance, and focal point size through computer-controlled excitation. Phased Array provides sharper detection capability and can display several presentations concurrently. Common applications are to noninvasively examine the heart or to find flaws in manufactured materials such as welds.
GROUND PENETRATING RADAR
Ground Penetrating Radar is a real-time NDT technique that uses high frequency radio waves, yielding data with very high resolution in a short amount of time. This technique uses electromagnetic waves that travel at a specific velocity determined by the permittivity of the material.
ACFM
Alternating current field measurement or ACFM is an electromagnetic technique for non-destructive testing detection and sizing of surface breaking cracks. It works on all metals, ferrous or non-ferrous.
